Karnivool - Themata (2005)

As I don't have much for now to share, I decided to share at last in my blog this amazing band Karnivool, mainly this amazing album Themata. They easily fit their songs in a progressive rock/metal genre which automatically gets points in my mind.

i will share with you the first two songs of the album, I guess a lot of people might already know them, but for those who don't, I think you will enjoy it. The first song is called "Cote", here I love the voice on the bridge before the chorus.

"Themata" was the song that brought me to Karnivool, and even today  I really enjoyed it.

Well is all for now. See you around

Riverside - Wasteland(2018)

Finally my people we are presented with the new album from Riverside Wasteland, It was already announced there would be a tour to promote the new album, the first of Pos-Piotr Era. Maybe the last Piotr era was indeed Love, Fear and The Time Machine but  in reality was Eye of the Soundscape the last one he is credited in. This new song is clearly heavier than the last two resists while still keeping their identity. Well this is what is possible to get from the music released on past 27th July, I waited until now to see if something else would be released, but then here it is: I leave you for now with the recent revealed song:
"Vale of Tears"
The song gave me Anathema Vibes, not that I am saying it doesn't sound like Riverside, I am saying the vibe the song transmits remembers me of songs like "Can't let go" from Anathema. As I love Aanthema I love to feel those vibe sin the song

As soon as something else is released stay tuned for a second part of this post

Earthside - A Dream In Static(2015)

Today I bring you something new I found last year, but only now could hear properly. Earthside. This USA band has some of the nicest things a progressive sound nowadays must have.
The first song I'm showing you is Mob Mentality feat. Lajon Witherspoon & MSSO(Moscow Studio Symphony Orchestra). The voice of Lajon from Sevendust is simply amazing, the cadence of his voice, with the nuances of the Ochestra are amazing

The second song i'm sharing with you is the homonymous song of the album A dream in Static feat Daniel Tompkins(Ex-TesseracT)

Antimatter 2nd part - Judas Table (2015)

Recently I participated in a web music contest in a forum I'm in and decided to use Antimatter, sadly during the Semi-Finals, Prophecy decided to put the video private and I lost needing to recur to an awful live video, between other awful live videos taken with toasters lol from the back of the room, full of zoom

So back to what it matters, Judas Table gives us a life lesson, how many might have been using you till today, how you value someone who doesn't deserve, imagine you being at table with some friends/family and all of them stab you in the back... well that's the meaning of the album name

From start Black Eyed Man, this song talks about how some peoples lie constantly to your face without knowing you know they are lying, and as they ignore it they continue lying to you, then if they think they can go ahead with lying to your face, what else are they doing in your back? be carefull

Lastly Stillborn Empires, How some people problems arrive from birth and how they grew, and how that influences their lives, the part "It was a business doing pleasure with you" says how a sex act is only a business doing such things inverting the usual saying

Antimatter 1st part - Early Fase - Lights Out(2003) and Fear of a Unique Identity(2012)

Today I bring you one of my recent pleasures, Antimatter
Antimatter has unique sound along all their albuns which came from 2000 till today, it is a one man project which invites as needed some other musicians to join him.
It's pure progressive rock, with some metal influences here and there.
The sound has several changes and paces, if you like progressive rock/metal you can't miss it by all means possible

I will start with Lights Out(2003) and Fear Of a Unique Identity

From Lights Out I leave you the selftitled song and the last music from the album Terminal, as we were a terminal patient waiting for something is simply marvelous.

From Fear Of a Unique Identity I leave you the first song, Paranova. But please listen everything of them it's worth it, mainly Leaving Eden from 2007.

This is The kind of Sound to hear with ears fully open.
Wednesday there will be no post for you to embrace Antimatter, and then Saturday, the second part of this Post

Out of metal/into progressive rock - Arrow Haze

Today I will talk a bout a band that i just discovered, Arrow Haze.

I was searching for Warrel Dane(ex-Nevermore) songs when I stumbled upon this amazing band. A touch of Power metal really sliding into Progressive, I rather say that it is a balanced mix between Progressive and Power metal into 50% and the other 50 percent being fulfilled by progressive Rock.
This is a Belgium band, formed in 2012 which members are:
Timo Somers (guitar & vocals)
Barend Courbois (bass)
Theo Vasilchenko (drums & vocals)

They have only one album, Music Factory from 2012
 1. Casino (5:56)
2. Memories (4:01)
3. Visions (3:32)
4. Dreams (5:45)
5. Lost (5:04)
6. Perfectly Ordinary (3:55)
7. Confirm the Message (4:11)
8. Along the Way (3:20)

10. Music Factory (4:38)
11. Stranger Tides (3:54)
12. Routine (3:09)
13. Crisis (4:33)

I will share with you the song Along the Way, Enjoy, this is the first post outside the progressive metal style, but into progressive rock
